<h2>SAP PLM Functional Architect</h2><p>We're seeking an experienced <strong>SAP PLM Functional Architect</strong> to support a high-visibility DoD program. This is a client-facing role where you'll lead Product Lifecycle Management workshops, drive solution design, and help organizations modernize engineering, configuration management, and product data processes through SAP S/4HANA and Teamcenter integration.</p><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><ul><li>6+ years of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) functional configuration experience in an implementation or consulting role</li><li>At least two full lifecycle SAP implementations</li><li>Hands-on experience integrating Teamcenter with SAP using:<ul><li>SAP ECTR</li><li>Teamcenter Gateway</li><li>BAPIs</li><li>IDocs</li><li>API-based interfaces</li></ul></li><li>Experience with:<ul><li>BOM Synchronization</li><li>Material Governance</li><li>Document Management</li><li>Engineering Change Orders (ECO)</li><li>Engineering Change Requests (ECR)</li><li>Engineering Change Management (ECM)</li></ul></li><li>Demonstrated expertise with:<ul><li>Engineering-to-Order (ETO) processes</li><li>Engineering BOMs (EBOMs)</li><li>Variant Structures</li><li>Configuration Control</li><li>Change Management</li></ul></li><li>Experience configuring:<ul><li>SAP Engineering Change Management (ECM)</li><li>Change Masters</li><li>Effectivity Rules</li><li>Workflow Processes</li><li>Change Impact Analysis</li></ul></li><li>Experience with SAP Document Management System (DMS), including:<ul><li>Document Types</li><li>Version Control</li><li>Status Networks</li><li>CAD Integration Workflows</li></ul></li><li>Strong knowledge of PLM integration with:<ul><li>Production Planning (PP)</li><li>Materials Management (MM)</li><li>Controlling (CO)</li><li>Project System (PS)</li></ul></li><li>Experience supporting project manufacturing environments, including:<ul><li>Project Stock</li><li>Individual Requirements Materials</li><li>WBS-driven Engineering Structures</li></ul></li><li>Ability to define engineering data governance, release processes, ownership models, and version-control strategies</li><li>Ability to write functional design documentation, functional specifications, and UAT test scripts</li><li>Ability to lead workshops and facilitate discussions with engineering, configuration management, program management, production planning, and sustainment teams</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)</li></ul><h3>Preferred Experience</h3><ul><li>Active Security Clearance</li><li>SAP or Siemens Teamcenter certification related to PLM, engineering change management, or product data management</li><li>Aerospace, defense contractor, government contracting, or DoD experience</li><li>SAP S/4HANA 2022 or 2023 PLM experience</li><li>Experience with:<ul><li>SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC/AVC)</li><li>Configurable Products</li><li>Engineering Change Processes</li><li>Configuration Baselines</li></ul></li><li>Experience with:<ul><li>CAD Data Management</li><li>SAP Engineering Control Center (ECTR)</li><li>AutoVue</li><li>Teamcenter-to-SAP integrations</li></ul></li><li>Familiarity with:<ul><li>EIA-649</li><li>MIL-STD-31000</li><li>DoD Configuration Management Standards</li></ul></li><li>Familiarity with SAP Quality Management (QM) integration</li><li>Experience with SAP Fiori and CDS-based analytics for engineering, BOM, and change-management reporting</li><li>Familiarity with SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM)</li></ul><h3>Travel</h3><ul><li>Up to 75% travel.</li></ul><p>This opportunity is ideal for a <span style="color:rgb(8,7,7);">senior</span> SAP PLM professional who enjoys working directly with clients, leading engineering transformation initiatives, and designing scalable product lifecycle management solutions.
