job summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Acquire-to-Retire (A2R) Lead to lead the functional design, delivery, and stabilization of core asset accounting operations. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional business and technical teams to streamline fixed asset processes, enhance operational visibility, and optimize end-to-end A2R solution delivery.

Bachelor's degree / Graduation required.
8+ years of dedicated experience in SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and Acquire-to-Retire (A2R) processes.
Proven experience with CIP/CWIP settlement, depreciation, and period-end asset close.
Extensive experience with enterprise system integrations (including Maximo).
Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Irving, TX.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Experience with Asset Retirement Obligations (ARO).
Strong background in AMS environments and business process optimization.

responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify operational pain points, process inefficiencies, and reporting needs.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of A2R enhancements from requirements gathering through SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare.
- Manage fixed asset accounting processes including asset acquisitions, transfers, retirements, disposals, CIP/CWIP settlement, and period-end close.
- Support integrations with upstream/downstream systems, including Maximo.
- Coordinate across AMS, integration, project, and business teams to manage defect resolution, backlog prioritization, and roadmap execution.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree / Graduation required.
8+ years of dedicated experience in SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and Acquire-to-Retire (A2R) processes.
Proven experience with CIP/CWIP settlement, depreciation, and period-end asset close.
