SAP S/4HANA Production Support Consultant

<p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p>Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Production Support Consultant to provide technical and functional support for a complex SAP enterprise environment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, and reliability of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Budget Planning (SBP), and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reporting solutions while supporting critical budgeting, financial reporting, and operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong SAP production support experience, exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve incidents, improve reporting accuracy, and support critical financial and planning operations. Key Responsibilities SAP S/4HANA Production Support Provide technical and functional production support for SAP S/4HANA applications. Troubleshoot system issues, production incidents, application errors, and performance concerns. Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate issue resolution with SAP Basis, development, integration, and functional teams. Monitor production environments and proactively identify risks and recurring issues. Support system releases, upgrades, patches, and enhancements. SAP Budget Planning (SBP) Support Support budget preparation activities, planning cycles, and budget reporting processes. Assist finance and budget teams with data validation and reconciliation activities. Troubleshoot planning forms, data inconsistencies, workflow issues, and reporting discrepancies. Partner with business users to ensure planning processes operate effectively and efficiently. Support ongoing enhancements and optimization of budget planning solutions. SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) Reporting & Analytics Support BusinessObjects reporting and analytics platforms. Resolve reporting issues, user access requests, and security-related concerns. Troubleshoot Analysis for Office and Excel connectivity issues. Support report scheduling, data refreshes, performance tuning, and report optimization. Work with technical teams to identify and resolve backend data issues impacting reporting. Data Analysis & Integration Support Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across SAP S/4HANA, SBP, BusinessObjects, and related systems. Support interfaces, data integrations, extracts, queries, and reporting processes. Analyze data quality issues and perform validation activities. Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure accurate reporting and information delivery. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Develop and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides. Document recurring issues and recommended resolutions. Provide end-user support and guidance. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training as needed. Follow established change management, security, and production support processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of SAP production support experience. 5+ years supporting SAP S/4HANA environments. Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics platforms. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
