Senior SAP FICO Business Analyst

<p>Akkodis, Inc. is seeking a Sr. SAP FICO Business Analyst for a full-time direct hire and fully remote role with a global industry leader.&nbsp; The Sr. SAP FICO Analyst will optimize and support the SAP ECC 6.0 financial and controlling functions.&nbsp; Qualifications include 6+ years within SAP FICO along with 3+ years recent experience within SAP ECC.</p><p>Salary Range:&nbsp; $120-145K; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors</p><p><span style="color:black;">This is a great opportunity to work with a stable company offering strong benefits and a collaborative team culture!</span></p><p><strong><span style="color:black;">Sr. SAP FICO Analyst Job Responsibilities Include :</span></strong></p><ul><li><p>Bridge the gap between finance stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring our systems are efficient, compliant, and support our global distribution operations</p></li><li><p>Business Requirement Analysis &amp; Solution Design:&nbsp;Act as a primary point of contact for the Finance and Accounting departments to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements. Translate these needs into effective SAP solutions and detailed functional specifications, ensuring alignment with business strategy and best practices.</p></li><li><p>SAP FICO Configuration &amp; Support:&nbsp;Lead the design, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of core SAP FI/CO modules, including GL, AP, AR, and CO-PA.</p></li><li><p>Compliance and Regulatory Expertise:&nbsp; Recommend and implement SAP solutions that ensure strict compliance with relevant US and global accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, and local tax laws).</p></li><li><p>Integration Management:&nbsp;Ensure seamless and robust integration between SAP ECC 6.0 and various third-party systems and internal platforms used.&nbsp; These include EDI, Hyland/OnBase, Vertex, Billtrust, and SAP BW.</p></li><li><p>Testing &amp; Quality Assurance:&nbsp;Develop comprehensive test scenarios, conduct unit and integration testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users to ensure solutions are fully functional and meet business needs.</p></li><li><p>Documentation &amp; Training:&nbsp;Create and maintain robust documentation for configurations, processes, and work instructions. Provide training and ongoing support to end-users and key stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Process Improvement:&nbsp;Proactively identify opportunities for process re-engineering and efficiency improvements within the financial landscape, leveraging SAP functionality and add-on tools.</p></li><li><p>Teamwork &amp; Leadership:&nbsp;Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, mentor junior analysts, and manage project timelines and deliverables for small to medium-sized projects.</p></li></ul><p><span style="color:black;">Qualifications:</span></p><ul><li><p>Minimum of 6+ years of proven experience as an SAP Business Analyst or Consultant with a primary focus on the FICO modules.</p></li><li><p>3+ years of recent hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0 is essential; familiarity with S/4HANA is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Functional expertise in SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking) and CO (CCA, PCA, Product Costing, CO-PA).</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience with finance system integrations, particularly with third-party tax, document management, and cash application solutions (e.g., Vertex, Hyland OnBase, Billtrust) is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Experience in an industrial distribution, manufacturing, or retail industry environment is highly desirable.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules (MM, SD) is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.</p></li><li><p><span style="color:black;">Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.</span></p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style="color:black;">If you are interested in this fully remote Sr. SAP FICO Business Analyst role please click APPLY NOW.&nbsp; For other opportunities available at Akkodis go to </span><a href="www.akkodis.com" target="_blank"><span style="color:black;">www.akkodis.com</span></a><span style="color:black;">.
