SAP Manager, Program & Project Leadership

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager in Miami, Florida.

Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects, including software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs throughout the enterprise, utilizing SAP products. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Participate and lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the SAP community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence in connection to information technology projects. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, information technology project team and developers/testers, and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

• 50% Travel required nationally
• Telecommuting permitted

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Utilizing SAP Readiness Check and Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Best Practices to perform software development and implementation services of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP);
• Delivering components of engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies, utilizing SAP ERP, ABAP, and Workflows;
• Tracking application defects, overseeing defect resolution efforts and documenting resolution details, utilizing Jira and ServiceNow;
• Participating in full life cycle implementations of complex deliverables by leveraging SAP ERP Sales and Distribution (SD), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Logistics Execution (LE), and Finance (FI) modules and building custom applications using SAP ABAP;
• Conducting training sessions to facilitate SAP systems knowledge transfer, including creating training materials and reference guides; and
• Enabling medium and large-scale client go-to-market strategies by converting design inputs into process flows and developing solutions for commercial operations and supply chains using SAP ERP SD, SCM, LE, and FI modules.
